Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Manhasset, NY - Onsite
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 Annual Base Salary (DOE), Yearly Bonuses (Performance Based), Yearly Reviews, Per Diems for traveling, Floating Vehicles Onsite when travel is far, PTO
Requirements: 5+ years of experience as an Assistant PM, Procore, General Contracting Industry, Medical Industry (Preferred)
We are a small, family oriented company founded 20 years ago in the GM/CM Industry! Some of the services we offer to our clients are Commercial, Residential, Pre-Construction, Special Projects, and Site Management. We work on a National level but currently most of our projects are located in Connecticut, New York, and Florida.
Our company recently gained 3 new projects locally (New York area) that are funded. Our team only takes on roles that are stable - we move strategically! We have an open door policy with our executive team and our CEO is very hands-on and available all around the clock.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and oversight of projects. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for interfacing with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. This role requires extensive knowledge of Procore, project management principles, and the construction industry, as well as experience in general contracting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in our office in Long Island, NY
- Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules.
- Manage and track project progress and report to project stakeholders.
- Work with clients and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project plans and ensure the timely completion of project tasks.
- Review invoices and track changes in project scope and costs.
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates.
Qualifications:
- Experience in project management and the construction industry.
- Comprehensive understanding of Procore and general contracting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
