Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, with a focus on insurance, PIP, and liability cases. This role will involve working closely with senior attorneys to manage a caseload and provide legal support. The successful candidate will have a passion for advocating for clients and the ability to handle complex legal matters with attention to detail and accuracy. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and management- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to personal injury and insurance litigation- Participate in firm marketing and business development activities as needed
Qualifications:- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school- Active license to practice law in the state- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in personal injury law, preferably with a focus on insurance, PIP, and liability cases- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines under pressure- Detail-oriented and highly organized- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with a team- Proficient in case management software and Microsoft Office suite
