We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manufacturing EHS Manager to join our heavy industrial manufacturing team in David City, NE. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and executing safety programs to ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations. You will be expected to develop and enforce safety standards, provide safety training for employees, and support incident and accident investigations. Additionally, you will be required to evaluate equipment and processes to identify potential hazards.
As EHS Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing safety programs, managing safety personnel, conducting incident investigations, and providing safety training. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining safety documentation and tracking safety performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5+ years of Safety Leadership experience in a Manufacturing facility.
- Must possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, etc.
- Must be able to multi-task different job assignments at the same time.
- Must have, or be able to achieve, a high level of understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental Regulations and HSE Management System.
- Must be available to travel to our facilities on a periodic basis.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Must have insurable driving record and valid drivers license.
