Job Title: ERP and BI Developer

Location: Hammond, IN

Compensation: $120,000 to $150,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits + 401k matching

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Business Intelligence (BI) Systems Developer and Analyst with extensive expertise in ERP configuration, development, and customization, particularly with ROSS ERP or similar Tier 3 ERPs. This role involves designing and implementing BI solutions while optimizing ERP systems to ensure seamless integration and efficient business operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both BI and ERP systems, the ability to analyze complex data, provide actionable insights, and lead ERP system enhancements. An MBA is preferred but not required for candidates with 10+ years of ERP system experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• BI System Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced BI solutions, reports, and dashboards using tools such as Prophix, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business processes and translate them into effective ERP configurations and customizations.
  • Ensure BI tools are integrated with ROSS ERP or similar Tier 3 ERPs and other enterprise systems for real-time analysis and reporting.
  • Manage ERP system upgrades, module implementations, and system enhancements with minimal disruption.
  • Continuously maintain and improve BI systems for optimal performance and user experience.
  • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from ROSS ERP or similar Tier 3 ERPs and other sources into BI systems.

• ERP Expertise:

  • Analyze complex datasets from ROSS ERP or similar Tier 3 ERPs and other sources to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance ERP functionality and ensure seamless integration of ERP data into BI platforms.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving ERP system utilization through enhanced reporting and analysis.

• Data Analysis:

  • Analyze large, complex datasets from ROSS ERP and other sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Create detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives.

• Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with department leaders, executives, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver customized BI solutions.
  • Provide technical support for BI tools and systems, including troubleshooting and resolving data issues.
  • Train and assist end-users in navigating BI dashboards and interpreting data outputs.

• Data Governance:

  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and security within all BI and ERP-related systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, system architecture, and processes.
  • Implement and uphold data governance standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred unless the candidate has 10+ years of ERP system experience (preferably with ROSS ERP or similar Tier 3 ERP).

• Experience:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with ERP systems, with preferred experience in ROSS ERP or similar Tier 3 ERPs.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI system development and data analysis.
  • Expertise in BI tools (Prophix, Power BI, Qlik) and ETL processes.
  • Strong SQL and database management experience.

• Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of ERP system integration, reporting, and data analysis, especially with ROSS ERP or similar Tier 3 ERPs.
  • Excellent analytical skills, capable of transforming complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
