What You Will Be Doing

Examine the project's labor, material, and time requirements.
Examine the project as a whole when estimating costs.
Provide the management team and owners with cost estimates.
Create reports that list every expense incurred during a project.
Enter expenses into the business's database.
Make bids and proposals and monitor submissions
Examine construction documents and specifications to confirm work scopes.
Complete takeoffs of the desired work scopes.
Requirements for Estimators

What You Need for this Position

3-5 years of experience working as a construction estimator
Expertise in Framing, Roofing, Siding, Drywall & Paint is a plus
Ability to work independently
Ability to put together a professional presentation
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Amazing analytical and math skills
Ability to work well on a team
Very detail oriented
Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements
Deep knowledge of a variety of building materials and specifications
Must have experience using software takeoff software, preferably PlanSwift and/or Stack
