Based near Phoenix, AZ we're a full service fire sprinkler and alarm contractor with a long history of success and currently we are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
Design fire protection sprinkler systems
Review work order and procedural manuals to determine critical dimensions of design
Make hydraulic calculations on all projects
Submit drawings for approval and permit acquisitions
Conduct field surveys
Provide material list for fabrication
Communicate with team members inside and outside the organization
Attend project meetings when necessary
Maintain job status reports for the project management cycle
What You Need for this Position
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of Fire Sprinkler Design experience
Strong CAD Designing experience with HydraCAD, AutoSPRINK or SprinkCAD
Experience with BIM modeling and field surveying
Experience designing Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge, and other systems
Experience designing Fire Pump systems
Experience designing commercial, residential, industrial, educational, retail, municipal, healthcare sprinkler systems
Knowledge of relevant NFPA Codes
Strong mathematical skills
Active NICET Certification is a PLUS
