We are looking for an experienced Knowledge Management Attorney to join our team. This position is responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of matters related to healthcare, intellectual property, and knowledge management. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of legal regulations and compliance in these areas, as well as a Juris Doctor degree. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the life sciences and/or biotech industry.
Position Overview:
The Knowledge Management Attorney is responsible for researching and reviewing legal matters, providing advice and guidance on legal regulations and compliance, and drafting various legal documents such as agreements and contracts. The successful candidate must be able to monitor related legal and regulatory developments and provide training for colleagues as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advice and guidance on legal regulations and compliance related to healthcare, intellectual property, and knowledge management
Research and review legal matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents including agreements, contracts, and transactional documents
Monitor legal and regulatory developments in the healthcare/life sciences and/or biotech industry and ensure compliance
Provide training on legal regulations and compliance to colleagues and other relevant parties
Maintain knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree required
5+ years of experience in the healthcare, life sciences and/or biotech industry
In-depth knowledge of legal regulations and compliance related to healthcare, intellectual property, and knowledge management
Experience with research and due diligence
Excellent communication, organizational, and legal writing skills
Nice to have: experience as a corporate associate or at a law firm/LLP
