Job Title: Litigation Associate
Location: New York City, NY
Salary: $150k-$185k
Requirements: 3+ years of Commercial Litigation experience
We are looking for a Litigation Associate to join our firm and provide legal counsel for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation to assist in the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and analyze legal issues and document findings on a variety of litigation matters
Draft legal documents, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation-related materials
Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings
Prepare legal summaries for clients
Work closely with other attorneys to manage case assignments
Prepare, file, and serve documents as needed
Liaise with clients and other external parties to respond to legal inquiries
Advise clients on the best legal strategies and procedures to take
Assist in the development of legal strategies and solutions
Represent the firm in all necessary legal proceedings
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree required
3+ years of experience in commercial litigation
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases at once
