Founded in 1919 we are the largest manufacturer of single use medical products in the US with roughly 400 employees across the facilities in the Pittsfield & Guilford areas. We control the entire manufacturing process due to the wood industry surplus in Maine which has helped our business thrive for over 100 years. For this Manufacturing Site Engineer position, you will be responsible for both of our Pittsfield locations (they are 2 minutes apart) as you will help develop efficient systems, processes & machines that will yield high quality products.

What You Will Be Doing

Collaborate w/ the Director of Manufacturing + Technician Manager to assess priorities across the department
Supervise tooling operations to ensure work is performed accurately and to quality / safety standards
Assess cost effectiveness of manufacturing processes & implement recommendations to reduce cost & improve efficiency
Prepare & implement the departmental budget
Ensure compliance w/ OSHA & EPA requirements

What You Need for this Position

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical / Industrial or closely related field
3+ years as a Manufacturing / Site Engineer ideally in the medical manufacturing space
Six Sigma certification is ideal (green / yellow belt)
Experience working in a manufacturing facility that has multiple product lines
Ability to travel between Pittsfield & Guilford locations (only 30 minutes apart)
