Based in the Greater Chicago area, our engineering firm focuses on industrial machinery manufacturing within the energy, industrial, and scientific market segments.
They specialize in the design of customized vessels and piping assemblies used in a variety of temperature and pressure ranges, which includes cryogenic applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Creation of solid model assemblies, fabrication drawings, and traveler instructions to ensure the final product meets client expectations.
Lead multiple projects - coordinate between external stake holders, fabrication, engineering & quality teams to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
Must have:
ASME Section VIII, Div 1 design and fabrication experience. This is for the design and fabrication of pressure vessels.
3+years engineering and fabrication experience.
Past Experience with FEA packages - Solidworks Simulation/ Ansys/ ABAQUS (Solidworks Simulation preferred)
Knowledge of cryogenic engineering
