Job Title: Production Manager
Job Location: Oriskany, NY (on site)
Salary: $90K-$120K+ DOE
Requirements: Production Management/Supervision, Production Processes, Personnel Supervision
- Ensure the Health, Safety, and Environmental standards for the facility are maintained, while leading the efforts visibly on the shopfloor to create and sustain a proactive HSE Culture
- Uphold standards for product quality and efficacy
- Ensure the production assets of the facility are preserved, while helping initiate and formalize plans to make technology improvements as needed
- Manage production workforce
- Create plans for production to support business growth such as CAPEX list and process optimization
- Monitor production process through KPIs to evaluate progress and define action for continuous improvement
- Manage operating budgets, make recommendations, implement solutions to drive cost improvement
- Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively, take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy
- Associates degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience; Bachelors Degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, for prolonged periods of time, and ability to lift 50 lbs
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies
- Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
