Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst- Class Action Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, and data analysis, as well as experience in data migration, manipulation, and database design.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SQL AND PYTHON IN A LEGAL SETTING
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage data related to class action lawsuits and ensure accurate and timely reporting to clients. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize SQL, Python, and other tools to analyze and manipulate data related to class action lawsuits
Design and maintain databases for class action cases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Develop data reports for clients, highlighting key insights and trends
Manage data transfer between various systems and platforms
Collaborate with business analysts to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions
Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office and LexisNexis to gather and analyze data
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data analytics, computer science, or mathematics
3+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a related role
Proficiency in SQL, Python- Panda and NumPy
LexisNexis experience preferred
Experience with data migration, manipulation, and database design
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
3+ years experience with advanced Excel (including VBA), data mining; prior coding experience is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion
Familiarity with legal terminology and class action lawsuits is a plus
