What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting our manufacturing operations through effective financial reporting and analysis. The Senior Accountant will work closely with various departments to provide insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1.) Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
2.) Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
3.) Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
4.) Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
5.) Collaborate with the manufacturing team to analyze cost structures and identify areas for improvement.
6.) Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial processes and reporting.
7.) Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
8.) Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
What You Need for this Position
Must-Have Skills:
1.) 5+ years of accounting experience
2.) 2+ years of manufacturing experience
3.) Extensive GAAP knowledge
4.) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
5.) Able to work onsite 4xs a week
Pluses (Not required):
1.) CPA or CPA Candidate
2.) ERP Implementation experience
