What You Will Be Doing
- Overall planning and management of estimating activities for specific construction projects, including preparation, interpretation, and presentation of estimates.
- Review proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-estimate meetings, analyze request for proposals to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
- Provide conceptual and final estimating input on complex projects
- Determine labor and construction equipment costs
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
- Ensure all working documents and data are maintained
- Track awarded contracts as required; may include estimating/pricing extra work items, change orders, credit, procuring materials on major work items
What You Need For This Position
- Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience of 10 years within our industry.
- Field experience a plus. Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal supervision.
- Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques, engineering disciplines and sub-trade required.
