Position Overview: The Software Quality Assurance Manager with a "hands on" approach will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the software quality assurance process for our complex detection system equipment.
-Strong background in software quality assurance, with experience in Linux environments and automation tools.
-Software connecting to Hardware and we'll look for candidates with this experience. Preferably within Medical / scanner systems.
Base salary $125K-$135K and DOE.
Responsibilities:
-Individual contributor, core team or technical lead for a specific projects.
-Accountable for the completion of assigned deliverables in accordance with approved schedules.
-Authors documentation and participates in activities in support of design control.
-Leads, designs and/or develops one or more of the following: new test methods, specifications, technical infrastructure, software and processes for complex components and functions.
-Identifies product defects and recognizes outliers in results. Able to explain and document product defects and their impact.
-Provides technical support for or leads complaint investigations.
-Schedules for activities related to the function, understanding cross-functional dependencies.
-Work with both UI and NON-UI APIs and with systems.
Qualifications:
-Test Automation Framework design experience.
-SQL and Python experience
-API testing
-Device/Instrumentation/Desktop and or Device Application; automation test for desktop or device application. (Software to Hardware)
-Test Automation in Agile environment
-Scrum
-Software on a device /instrumentation experience
-Proficient in Python, Java and able to do actual programming
-Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium and Soap UI.
