Position Overview:The Tax Manager will oversee all aspects of tax compliance and planning for the company. This role will be responsible for managing tax partnerships, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings for pass-through entities such as S-Corps, and conducting tax research and planning to ensure the company is in compliance with all tax laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:- Manage all tax partnerships and ensure timely and accurate tax filings for pass-through entities such as S-Corps- Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liability- Oversee the preparation of all tax returns and ensure they are filed accurately and on time- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure proper tax reporting- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding tax-related matters- Train and supervise tax associates and provide guidance and support as neededQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- CPA certification required- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a corporate setting- Strong knowledge of partnerships and pass-through entities such as S-Corps- Experience conducting tax research and implementing tax planning strategies- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines- Leadership and supervisory experience- Nice to have skills: Advanced tax research and planning experience.
