Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor
Position Overview
The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair operations of aircraft to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role requires leadership skills and technical expertise to manage a team of technicians and ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities on various aircraft types, including Challenger and Gulfstream.
- Ensure all maintenance operations comply with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct inspections and audits to guarantee the quality of maintenance work performed.
- Manage and train maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize aircraft downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure proper documentation is completed.
Qualifications
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with Challenger and Gulfstream aircraft.
- Knowledge of 145 MRO regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
