Audit Manager

Position Overview
The Audit Manager will oversee and manage the audit processes for our clients, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering high-quality audit services. The role involves working closely with nonprofit organizations (NFP) and HUD, providing strategic guidance and expertise in audit practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing training and support to foster professional growth.
Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to client needs, particularly for NFP and HUD organizations.
Review and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
Communicate effectively with clients to provide insights and recommendations based on audit findings.
Prepare audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on nonprofit organizations and HUD.
Strong knowledge of audit standards and regulations, particularly for NFP and HUD sectors.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
CPA certification is a plus, as well as experience with Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) and general accounting practices.
