Audit Supervisor / Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor / Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead audit engagements, oversee audit staff, and ensure compliance with established accounting standards and regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, including preparation of audit reports.
- Supervise audit team members, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality work.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present audit findings to clients and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact for audit-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with tax and advisory teams to provide comprehensive service to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in auditing.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in audit or accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to supervise and develop staff.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Membership in professional organizations is a plus.
