Commercial Project Manager - Environmental Remediation/ Materials Removal/ Abatement

Field/100% Travelled role - Covering Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties

We are a leading environmental remediation firm specializing in asbestos and materials abatement, demolition, and hazardous material removal.

Many of our current and new projects span multifamily dwellings, commercial buildings, and multi-phase developments. We are committed to safety, compliance, and delivering high-quality results for our clients.

The Commercial Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of asbestos abatement and demolition projects. This role requires strong experience in commercial estimating, project management, and coordination of multi-phase and multifamily dwelling projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of asbestos abatement and demolition projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Prepare and review commercial estimates, bids, and proposals.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Resolve project issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

The ideally qualified applicant will bring DIRECT industry experience and AS MUCH of the below listed skills/experience as possible:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in commercial project management within environmental remediation or construction.
Proven experience in asbestos abatement and demolition projects.
Strong background in commercial estimating and cost control.
Experience managing multifamily and multi-phase construction projects.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
Strong understanding of HAZMAT regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage project teams and client relationships.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

Please note, the listed range is for available salary.

The TOTAL COMP potential, depending upon experience, performance, will be anywhere in the 120-150K range, which includes an 'ON TARGET' bonus in the ballpark range of 30-50K annually.
