Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor
Job Location: Boca Raton, FL
Compensation: $70k - $90k
Requirements: 5+ Years' of experience in a similar dispatch role. Experience working for a construction/restoration or emergency related dispatching is a plus.
This is a full time / permanent position for a well-established construction / restoration company.
Due to consistent growth, they are currently hiring for a Dispatch Supervisor. This person will be supervising staff responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency situations. This person will act as a first line supervisor for overseeing daily operations to ensuring compliance with established procedures and policies.

What You Will Be Doing
Serves as the primary supervisor for designated dispatch staff, managing daily operations, activities, and personnel on an assigned shift to ensure adherence to established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
Oversees, assigns, reviews, and participates in the work of dispatchers handling emergency and non-emergency calls.
Manages effective supervision and administration, including staff development, performance management, employee relations, prioritizing, and assigning work-related tasks.
Approves and monitors leave requests.
Provides guidance to staff on challenging issues and makes decisions in exceptional situations to manage and implement appropriate services and assistance.
Logs all Project Directors' statuses on the daily operations calendar.
Assists dispatchers with complex calls and dispatches; acts as the technical expert for dispatching operations; and conducts quality assurance reviews of dispatches.
What You Need for this Position
5+ Years' Experience in a dispatch role
Experience in an emergency dispatch related role is preferred
Supervisory / leadership experience
Experience with a construction company/restoration company would be helpful but is not required
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
