Position Overview:
As a Family Law Attorney, you will represent clients in a wide variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, prenuptial agreements, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong legal skills, exceptional client service abilities, and a passion for helping families navigate some of life's most difficult legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
-Handle a full caseload of family law matters from start to finish
-Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in divorce, custody disputes, child support issues, alimony, property division, and related family law cases
-Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and court orders
-Advocate on behalf of clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement conferences
-Maintain strong client relationships, keeping them informed and supported throughout the legal process
-Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services
-Stay current on changes in family law legislation and case law
Qualifications:
-J.D. from an accredited law school
-Licensed to practice law in Texas (TX Bar membership)
-Minimum 3+ years of experience practicing family law (higher experience levels encouraged)
-Proven track record of handling complex family law cases
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Excellent negotiation and litigation skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
-Empathy, professionalism, and a client-first mindset
