Insurance Coverage Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation in insurance coverage matters, focusing on litigation and dispute resolution. This role involves analyzing complex insurance policies, advising clients on coverage issues, and representing them in court as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on insurance coverage issues and disputes
Analyze insurance policies and applicable laws to determine coverage
Represent clients in litigation and negotiations related to insurance claims
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
Collaborate with clients and insurance adjusters to resolve claims
Stay updated on trends and changes in insurance law and regulations
Advise on risk management and policy compliance

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Proven experience in insurance litigation
Strong understanding of insurance coverage principles
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear advice
Preferred experience in areas such as Casualty, Commercial Liability, and Umbrella Insurance
Familiarity with Intellectual Property and Builders Risk insurance
