Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview
The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in managing and executing various litigation tasks related to personal injury cases, including but not limited to, medical malpractice, premises liability, and product liability. The role involves assisting in case preparation, legal research, and client communication to ensure efficient case management and representation of clients' interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation including case preparation, research, and documentation.
  • Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries to support litigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and manage schedules for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Maintain case files and ensure all documents are organized and up-to-date.
  • Assist in trial preparation including exhibit organization and trial strategy sessions.
Qualifications
  • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a litigation setting, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Strong knowledge of legal research techniques and legal software.
  • Experience with case management tools and documentation processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
