Maintenance Technician

Southern, WI - Multiple Shifts available

2nd shift M-F, 1pm to 930p
3rd Shift Sun PM - Thurs 9p to 5:30a)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our industrial manufacturing team, in a role where you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability, including both Mechanical and Electrical system troubleshooting and repair, Preventive Maintenance planning and execution, all while ensuring plant and employee safety and manufacturing volume/performance.

This role requires a strong, well-rounded understanding of various maintenance practices and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, to handling those URGENT, unplanned equipment outages, and how to address, work with, and perform at a high level throughout.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential problems.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Collaborate with other team members to optimize maintenance processes and procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and principles.
Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices including maintenance and repair, multicraft maintenance, and foundry maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

This is NOT a uber clean, food production environment...this is a 'get your hands dirty' industrial manufacturing facility, so you must be able and willing to work in such a setting.
