Title: Production Supervisor - Food/Packaging
Location: Kingsport, TN - ON SITE
Salary: $100,000-$105,000/Year + Bonus and Benefits
Requirements: 4+ Years of Experience in a Food and Beverage Manufacturing Plant. A strong understanding of SQF/GMP and HACCP is needed for this role. Experience with large teams, high-speed machinery and the ability to supervise employees will be needed for this role. Ability to lead a team will be a MUST for this person and position and they will work hand in hand with the Plant Manager.

What You Will Be Doing

Plan and coordinate production schedules, ensuring adherence to specifications and delivery deadlines.
Monitor and maintain machine and equipment performance for optimal efficiency.
Lead production employees to ensure a safe and high-quality output.
Implement and ensure compliance with operational, safety, sanitation, and food safety procedures (e.g., GMP, HAACP, SQF).
Coach and mentor employees on safety and performance standards.
Address issues such as absenteeism, waste, and product quality.
Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee record-keeping for cost accounting and compliance.
Investigate accidents/incidents and enforce corrective measures.
Provide training, cross-training, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Foster positive morale and communication among employees.

What You Need for this Position

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise 30-40 hourly production employees.
Responsible for training, assigning tasks, appraising performance, resolving issues, and enforcing policies.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or 4+ years related experience; or a combination of both.
Knowledge of GMP's, HAACP, sanitation, quality assurance, and plant safety programs.
Proven leadership, conflict management, and decision-making abilities.
Bilingual (Spanish and English preferred).
