Project Designer II / Intermediate Interior Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Designer II / Intermediate Interior Designer who is passionate about creating innovative interior spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients and project teams to develop design concepts that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. The ideal Project Designer will have a strong understanding of building codes and regulations, particularly OSHPD and HCAI standards.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for interior spaces.
Develop and present design concepts using various design software, including Revit and 3D modeling tools.
Prepare construction documentation and detailed drawings for projects.
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, particularly in medical and healthcare environments.
Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively to meet client expectations.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality of work.
Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to integrate design with structural and mechanical systems.
Utilize problem-solving skills to address design challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of building codes and regulations, particularly OSHPD and HCAI standards.
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design or related projects.
Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
Experience in medical and healthcare design is a plus.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
Ability to think creatively and solve problems in a design context.
