Job Title: Transactional Real Estate Paralegal

Locations: We're looking to fill this position for our Washington DC and Richmond, VA offices! This is a Hybrid role.

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000 Base Salary

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Transactional Real Estate Paralegal to support our legal team in all aspects of real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, commercial real estate, surveys, and titles. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and closing documents.
Conduct thorough title searches and analyze title reports to identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
Coordinate and manage the closing process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Review and prepare real estate surveys, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in real estate transactions to gather and provide necessary information.
Maintain organized and up-to-date files and records for all real estate transactions.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervising attorney.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on real estate transactions, commercial real estate, surveys, and titles.
Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
