Superintendent
Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various construction sectors, including multifamily, commercial, healthcare, and industrial construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor crews to ensure work is performed efficiently and to specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project milestones.
- Review and approve project plans, estimates, and budgets, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to construction plans and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to address any issues or changes in scope.
- Manage project documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on multifamily, commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
