Technical Lead - C#/.Net Core - Hybrid - 3 days onsite (three sites to choose from Farmington CT, Morristown NJ or White Plains NY) Willing to relocate.

Salary - up to $160,000/year depending on experience with a bonus of 15-20%

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to oversee the offshore and onshore development team for one of our business applications.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#/.NET Core and JavaScript frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of software applications using C#/.Net Core and SQL Server.
  • Oversee a small team of engineers onshore and offshore.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new applications.
  • Manage the applications and integrations for this area of the business.
  • Manage and monitor all aspects of the SDLC and the production support of business applications.
  • Create design documents and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using MS technologies, C#/.Net/.Net Core and SQL Server.
  • Must have experience transitioning an application from .Net to .Net Core.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .Net, JavaScript, React, Angular, GraphQL, HTTP, REST and SOAP.
  • Must have experience with Docker and containerization.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a huge plus.
  • Experience managing an offshore team is highly desirable.
