Established (25+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Employment Law Partner for PAGA Litigation in CA (REMOTE)
An established firm based in California with over 25 years in practice is seeking an Employment Law Partner with 8+ years of experience to join their team remotely (only 10% onsite). This Attorney will have extensive experience handling Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) litigation, ensuring compliance with California labor laws while representing clients in class-action-style lawsuits, compliance audits, and advisory roles.

Salary range: $230,000 - $300,000+ contingent on book of business

Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in employment litigation defense, with a focus on PAGA claims
Trial experience preferred, but not required
Strong knowledge of class action and PAGA-inclusive litigation
Juris Doctorate (JD) and active California Bar membership in good standing
Superior research, analytical, and negotiation skills
Excellent written and oral communication
Commitment to proactive case management
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of PAGA claims, including class-action-style lawsuits, settlement negotiations, and trial representation
Developing and executing strategic litigation plans, balancing risk, settlement potential, and litigation costs
Monitoring and managing the discovery process, including gathering evidence, deposing key witnesses, and trial preparation
Advising clients on California labor law compliance, conducting audits, and developing policies related to wage and hour issues, employee classification, and meal/rest break compliance
Evaluating new legislation and case law affecting PAGA claims to ensure clients remain compliant with regulatory changes
Developing and delivering presentations, workshops, and training on PAGA compliance and litigation strategies
Cultivating and expanding client relationships, identifying business development opportunities, and growing the firm's PAGA practice
Supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and staff, ensuring high-quality work and professional growth within the team
Reviewing and approving legal work, motions, pleadings, and discovery responses to maintain compliance and case strategy
