Established (25+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Senior Attorney for School District Defense in CA (REMOTE)
An established firm based in CA with over 25 years in practice is seeking an Senior Attorney with 10+ years of experience to join their team remotely (only 10% onsite). This Attorney will have experience with public education employment litigation defense, ensuring compliance with public education laws, union agreements, and collective bargaining terms while representing school districts in trial defense.

Salary range: $230,000 - $300,000, contingent on experience

Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in employment litigation defense, specifically in school district matters
Public education trial defense experience required
Experience with public entity defense preferred
Juris Doctorate (JD) and active California Bar membership in good standing
Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of employment litigation defense matters for public school districts
Ensuring compliance with public education laws, union agreements, and collective bargaining terms
Defending school districts in trials, hearings, depositions, and administrative proceedings
Advising school district clients on federal and state employment regulations, including Title IX, ADA, and other education-specific statutes
Providing training to school district leadership, HR personnel, and administrators on legal compliance and risk mitigation
Conducting workshops on anti-discrimination, sexual harassment prevention, teacher tenure, and union regulations
Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management
